The personal development guides for middle and high school students, “iChoose” and “Construiește-ți Viitorul,” are built around current topics that reflect both students' needs and the specifics of the Romanian education system, in order to equip students with life skills.

The two guides are being implemented in 7 counties (Constanța, Bucharest - Sector 6, Argeș, Timiș, Arad, Iași and Mehedinți) by 780 teachers, reaching 24000 students. The 16 and 17 lessons, respectively, that make up the guides will be taught to students by the end of the 2023 - 2024 school year, and this process will continue into the following school year.

The “iChoose” Guide for Middle School Students

A personal development guide for middle school, built on core values for the generations to come. It was created by the Maxwell Leadership Foundation, which uses it in schools in Latin America, Africa and the United States, and it was translated and adapted for Romanian schools by Asociația Maxwell România. In the 2025-2026 school year, it reached schools in 22 counties and Bucharest, and the evaluation by CJRAE (County Center for Educational Resources and Assistance) Hunedoara showed rising scores across all 16 topics.

iChoose Leadership Guide

The lessons in the guides inspire young people toward personal and professional growth by building their self-esteem and the courage to take on the right actions and roles, and by propelling them toward reaching their true potential.

At the same time, these personal development guides are an important and much-needed tool for teachers in leading homeroom classes, thanks to the way they are structured and, above all, the topics they cover.

in middle school and high school in Romania.
