Maxwell Summer Camp

The first camp organized by Asociația Maxwell took place on August 16-18, 2021, at Clubul Copiilor in Lugoj. The camp's participants were 10 children between the ages of 10 and 14, from 9 schools in Timișoara.

Purpose

Energy, good cheer, play, fun and challenges are the words that describe this first camp.

Building young people's ability to interact and communicate positively with those around them.

Incredibly valuable information, special guests from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, challenges, debates, and new skills learned through dance and weaving workshops...

Together we can make a difference!

These were three days in which all of us learned something new, built friendships and valuable relationships, had fun dancing and enjoying ourselves, and spent quality time together.
They were three intense days of growth, new insights and challenges. This experience taught us many lessons, and at the same time it showed us how important these kinds of activities are for children and young people.
The main idea the children took away, and expressed in their feedback, was that healthy self-esteem is the foundation for reaching every goal they set for themselves in life.

This encourages us to keep creating as many of these growth opportunities as possible for as many children and young people as possible.

Join us in changing the future of the children in our country, and support us in running activities like these in the future, with many more participants!
