It runs values-based education, leadership, and personal development programs for students and teachers in schools across Romania, in partnership with County School Inspectorates.
Its main program is the optional course “Education for Life: choose! act! inspire!” for grades 5-7, approved by Order No. 6.982 of the Minister of Education and Research of December 22, 2025, which any school in Romania can choose. The curriculum was created by the Association, based on the Maxwell Leadership Foundation’s “iChoose,” “iDo,” and “iLead” guides, translated and adapted for Romanian schools.
The “iChoose” guide has 16 lessons on choices, responsibility, courage, and influence. In the 2025-2026 school year, it reached schools in 22 counties and Bucharest, and an evaluation of 4,470 students conducted by the Hunedoara County Center for Educational Resources and Assistance showed rising scores across all 16 topics. Since October 2026, the “iChoose” program has also been running in vocational schools in the Republic of Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova.
The programs come from the Maxwell Leadership Foundation, the nonprofit organization of American author John C. Maxwell, which has brought values-based education to public schools in Latin America, Africa, and the United States, working with ministries of education. The association’s general manager is Florin Băcioiu, and the programs reach schools through teams of facilitators in the counties.
